Model facing Y axis and not X axis.

The military Dark character model is facing the wrong orientation. Is there a way to change this so it faces the X axis?

just rotate the mesh component by -90 on yaw

It rotates the orientation with it

Not sure what you mean, but I suppose you can reimport it with a -90 yaw import rotation if you have the FBX, or export it from within the engine and do the reimport with that
You can see and modify the import rotation either during the import window, or in the asset details of your mesh under import settings
If asset details is not visible, you can show it through the Window menu
