Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to figure out the best way for a friend and I to work on the same TM file that is saved to a cloud sharing platform and be able to keep all the changes we make. The exact scenario is that my friend will be importing an ArchiCAD model into the TM file and is also using a Mac. I'm using a PC. Our main problem is the texture file pathing gets messed up a lot because it tries to point to a local temp file or something, especially when working with the ArchiCAD import. We tried using the Resource Collector but it only somewhat worked how we needed.
Basically we just need to be able to each open the TM file, make changes, save back to the cloud sharing platform, and the other can open and with all textures and changes saved.
Please let me know if anyone has tried a similar thing or has any success with other methods. Thanks!
Hello ,
Thank you for posting your question in the community about working on different machines with the same Twinmotion scene. In order to share your work and the textures you will need to run a resource collector and send the new Twinmotion file with the Maps folder that includes textures even the ones in the "Temp" folder from the Direct-Link. Each time an exchange is done it is recommended to run the resource collector.
Here is the article that goes over this feature:

Please keep in mind if you are on a Mac it is important to relocated that Temp folder when using Direct-Link as it may remove those textures after rebooting: https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/Missing-Textures-after-Rebooting-the-Computer-Mac-Only
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Kind regards,
Vincent B.
