Modding dino stat change like Gigas - Higher wild, nerfed when tamed. Is it possible?

Hello! I’m wanting to adjust the stats of the WILD dinos on my server so that, in the wild, their stats are higher- specific dinos, really. Like ants would be weak, while Rex’s would be tanks- stronger, faster, harder to kill. But when tamed, their stats nerf down to more normal numbers, like how Gigas do. Basically I want to balance my server so wild dinos are harder and tamed ones aren’t overpowered unless you work really hard and breed, etc. Sadly with the normal config this is impossible to do- upgrading dino damage, health, resistance does so for ALL dinos, so bugs are horrific when turned up higher, creatures that should be weak. And it moves into tamed dinos stats as well, aside from resistance. So- Is it possible, and if so how would I do it? What do I need to change/adjust/add? Thank you!

The game braking nerfs weren’t enough for you!?
Do a google search on how to fix the stats for nerfed dinos, they should work the other way around.

Well, I’ve already done all this in my mod (Steam Workshop::Lore Friendly Realism Mod) as well as a whole bunch of other balances/realism/quality of life changes. But if you want a crack at it yourself, the files you’re looking for are the dino component files for creature base stats/stat per level/tame bonuses (located in primalearth/coreblueprints) and the Dino character BPs for damage, located in (primalearth/dinos/whichevercreatureyou’rechanging). There’s a whole bunch more useful settings in the other sections of coreblueprints, and a few in structures too, like the damage modifiers for buildings (I have rex and such smashing through wood in one hit). Ahh. Thank you for the help! - And as for the nerf, the game-breaking nerf was on wild dinos. I want to rebuff them and nerf tamed ones- to make it balanced again. I just can’t do that with the .ini properly.

I’ve got a PvPve Ark SC server running, but I’d like to make the Wyverns; to not do dmg in PvP, or at least less dmg… I’ve had to wipe the server twice now cause some jackasses keeps wiping out all the other players once they’ve gotten them wyverns, they’re even easier to get than getting a Mantis!
I also want the Golems to not do PvP dmg…

Any suggestions, or do I have to learn how to use the Unreal engine? :stuck_out_tongue:

To resolve, you will need to learn ADK. I think there is a way you can turn them off in the ini. I dont know, i assume its like “normal Ark” in that respect. If you dont want dinos doing PvP dmg, then, make the server PvE?

you can just stop those from spawning at all. Maybe the simplest way to solve the problem? This is easily done if you using ASM http://arkservermanager.freeforums.net/
If not it’s probably something you have to type in the .ini, or perhaps your server hosting company has it’s own GUI for it?

You could even replace their spawns with a different dino so something will fill their spot. Also, maybe making them none tamable is a better solution for you? I’m sure there is plenty of info on how to do all of the thing that have been suggested with a quick google.
