Modding advice for Atlas?

Hi there. I’m not sure that this is the right format of question asking. i’m new to modding using the atlas dev kit which i understand is a modified version of the unreal engine. I was wondering, because modding help for atlas is hard to come by if I could ask for some help here.

So I made a copy of a weapon template. A bow(and arrow). A ranged weapon. And updating the materials in the copy changes the appearance of the weapon mesh in the components section. But when I use PIE. The original bow texture is what is coming up.

I used the exact same method in regards to a pick axe and the material came up fine.

Literally I’m not wanting to make major mesh changes or animation changes. I just want to make a pretty bow for a mod I’m working on.
