Hello,
we are trying use photos from mobile mapping system to create point cloud. I imported precise coordinates (± 1-2 cm ) in UTM34 of most cameras with Flight mode. I didn’t use GCPs. But when I exported finaly point cloud, it is in local coordinates. In export window I can’t change Coordinate system Grid plane to Output coordinate system UTM34. And my residual lines are too long
Could you help me?
Thanks
Hi Peter Juraško
go to WORKFLOW -> SETTINGS -> COORDINATE SYTEM and set the proper one ( UTM34 ), then add images with the same system, align them so that they stay in the same system ( you have imported them, but aligned them in the LOCAL SYSTEM )
Then you will get proper exports…
Hi Wishgranter,
Doesn’t still impossible import coordinates cameras with omega phi kappa angles? I have got troubles with long straight streets, my point cloud is georeferenced but rotated about direction of street. Do you have any ide to fix it?
Thanks
Peter
Hi Peter Juraško
For now it’s not possible to import external camera orientation directly to RC, but this option is already on the feature list.
Can you post some screenshots of the issue ? or if it’s sensitive data, send it to my email milos.lukac@capturingreality.com
