Mobile Game "James War"

James War

Hello.

I present to you the mobile game that I developed completely by myself.

The game was developed entirely with Unreal engine 5 blueprint.

3 years of education. + Thank God I finished this game in 1 year.

It is currently only available on Android platforms. I hope to publish it on the App Store as soon as possible.

Hi there @Sahildali1,

Hope you’re well and having a wonderful week so far

I’ve always been obsessed with old-school artstyles. There’s something so charming about it  That means, of course, this project immediately caught my eye. So full of that old nostalgia. If you don’t mind answering, what inspired this game specifically? And do you have a “favorite” feature?

Hello. I just saw the message. Sorry for the late reply.

Years ago, I had a story that came to me. This is a novel/story consisting of life experiences. I wanted to convey this to people.

I was thinking about how I could convey this to people. I can’t make a movie with my own means. Writing a book wasn’t ideal for me. At that time, since I loved playing games myself. I thought the best way to convey this to people was through “gaming”.

Thank God, this game is a product of that decision I made years ago..

The atmosphere of the game, the plot of the game were always based on the story. In other words, the atmosphere and music of each episode were adapted specifically to the story I wanted to tell. (Of course, I sometimes limited the features to avoid mobile optimization problems)

So if I say features, I am offering a psychological analysis that will appeal to people’s inner world, a little bit of facts, a little bit of imagination…

I believe that in the game story, each person will have a different deep connection. Because I believe my story is based on a person’s inner world and a little bit of reality…

Note: I didn’t add any ads so as not to spoil the mobile game atmosphere, I didn’t put any in-game payments so as not to be “pay to win”. Because I’m an old PC gamer. PC game shouldn’t have an outside world that will bother you. A real game starts and ends. And I don’t like online games either. I believe that a game takes you from the beginning, then takes you away and ends. You don’t add ridiculous content just so that a game can make you earn money for years! Well, my game was made in this way. Like a movie. It’s played and its story should end. This is how I feel about old games. Maybe you understand nostalgia like this. Because old games were like that

That’s why I made the game paid for considering this. Buy it once. And the game ends with satisfaction. I won’t exploit your years thinking how I’m going to make money from you for years  Oh, I also think the gameplay is long…

It’s been a bit long, I thought I’d write it for your attention. Thank you for your interest.

Thanks for taking the time to respond  Inner struggles being used to “connect” with the player is such a marvelous and thoughtful idea. Glad you dived into it  Just out of curiosity, is the game finished now or will there be future updates to look forward to?

The game starts and ends as I intended. The entire main story of the game is finished. What I wanted to tell has been told. There is no update to the main story.

However, apart from this, I have still added an extra section right now. It is available. Depending on the situation, need, desire, taste, of course I am thinking of adding sections independent of the main story.

However, the main story and the concept I wanted to tell are completely finished and published. So this is the full version. However, depending on taste and need, there may be special sections in the future (There is currently one special section)
