[Mobile FPS Game] Sorcerer

Hi, I’ve been working on my project - Sorcerer- for a while now, I have a developer diary over on my channel on youtube.

Here is my last Developer Diary about it.

I’ll post more updates as they come, I have gone through a few revisions, I think I may turn it into a rogue like, simply because it requires less work on the level creation style and I like death-match/arena style levels.

Needs a little refinement but nice start overall! I particularly like your treatment of the sky and the particle effects.

Another update https://

I used a dummy character to help my flying AI get around the map.

This game looks really good, reminds me of hexen mixed with blood and Hocus Pocus. I love the idea of monster waves and the maps look very pleasing and have good architecture. I love your cherub monster, hope you get him working properly.

Keep it up =D

Hey guys, here are some images of the enemies from SORCERER. I put the unreal engine logo in there so people know where it was rendered.

I think it’s amazing, that in 2014, you actually export your models from the modeling program, to the 3d game engine to get the better render.

I’ll be posting another video about these artistic asset updates soon.

Sorcerer - FREE - Out Now: get it on Google play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epicgames.Sorcerer

Congrats on the release. Surprised it was only an 18mb download but it does not work on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Just closes straight away.

if it just closes straight away usually means no obb file was added…18mb is too small as well so its definantly no obb… it will work on the developers device because of testing though

Thanks for letting me know, I thought the file size seemed off, I did upload the obb file, maybe it rejected it or something stupid. Google play has this wierd problem where it wont let you upload an obb file alongside version 1.0, so I’ll have to recheck that out, it’s a real pain in the *** so I’m really pleased about the new easy to use html5 support.

Hey guys, thanks for watching my project.

The Android version is going to be shelved for the moment as 4.7 has some issues with android deployment.

You can however play the HTML5 version over at http://.itch.io/sorcerer

Hey guys you can now also download the android version from itch.io, it is the developer version however, as I have not gotten the shipping version to work in 4.7, it should run and play all the same however. Please tell me if you play it.
