Mobile DOF for Screen Capture 2D component for mobile VR (Quest 3)

I want to simulate a camera viewfinder in VR on Quest 3 for which I need shallow DOF. I have a Screen Capture 2D component set up with DOF settings which works nicely in Desktop mode. Once I switch to Android/Vulkan or build on Quest 3 it doesn’t work anymore (even though I switched on the mobile DOF settings).

I tried everything, switching around all the mobile DOF settings, color space to Final/LDR, changing the target platform to maximum, trying to force DOF quality setting to 1 via console etc.

Is it just impossible or is there some way to achieve this?
