Mobile Assets

Hi there,

Is there a rule to see if assets would perform great on current high end mobile devices? (Like Landscapes or modular pieces)
The UE4 marketplace just contains a handful assets tagged as ‘mobile ready’ but in the PC section are assets with relative low poly too.

Well, I guess you need to test it. Targetting for high end devices isn’t the best idea imo. You should profile your game with a mid-end device.
It’s easier to upgrade graphics than downgrading them. UE also provides many features for Scalability.You should also take a look at the Mobile Performance Guidelines. Materials are the most restricted part when developing for Mobile.
