I agree with . I set up IIS on my server here at home… then set up the game server… Got everything going… with a TON of help from … Then, I moved All of my IIS stuff to GoDaddy. And I still run my game Server here out of the house… then, as I make changes, I patch and upload what I need to my GoDaddy account web page for my friends can log in and see what I have done. They make suggestions and I rise and repeat… After I have my toons ready for account creation I will then go about “Digging holes and planting trees” and make a terrain(s) and work on in game stuff…
If I ever get to the point my kids and their friends out grow my home connection. I will then look at moving the server to a real server site.
