So a little information before people give me annoying comments -
I have just finished my 2nd year of uni and we have been put into groups for our final year project so we can get started as soon as we start again in september. The group has decided to go for an MMO and we all know how much of a task it is and by the time we finish next year we’re expecting a beta ready product. For people wondering about server stability etc its going to be hosted by the university on a private server, im not aware of the specs but i know they are very powerful.
What we need help with is how to do the world. If we do someday come accross to creating continents we know how thats going to be done, we just dont know how we’re going to be doing the zones. Ive been looking and there are several ways of doing and we cant think of which is best. Were planning on using the full 20x20km that unreal allows.
