Includes: Animation sequences
All animations were created direct in engine using Control rig and all animation sequences are included in the project so you can modify, adjust and re-use animations easily. A modular control rig is used to account for the additional weapon bones.
Technical info:
The head is animated to have custom camera shake on a per animation basis, if you wish to utilise this camera shake attach your camera directly to the head bone OR a socket attached to the head. You can also remove the head animation in the sequences if you wish to use a custom solution.
Additional weapon bones are added to attach your knives to, this is a modified UE5 mannequin skeleton.
For the best results your knife meshes, be that custom or pack bought should have the pivot point be located in the centre of the handle. A socket can be used on the weapon bones for minor adjustments but a pivot point elsewhere will have the attachment be misaligned.
A modular control rig is included
Please ensure Control rig, Sequencer animation tools, Control Rig modules, Control rig Spline are enabled in your plugins
Additional notes:
A Knife mesh is NOT included, the knife in the videos was used as reference to animate with found here: https://skfb.ly/6VTtF
This pack does NOT contain the retargetter set up, if you utilise the UE4 mannequin skeleton or another skeleton you will have to add the additional weapon bones and retarget the animations. With the correct setup though they should retarget nicely.
