ML Deformer 'rivet' objects

ML deformer totally excites me! It works and looks amazing in most cases, but during my tests, I encountered a problem I can’t solve.

When I want some additional object attached to the surface, that has copied skin from the base object, ML deformations look great, BUT! When I want this additional object to have its own bone, which is going to be animated or simulated, things break :frowning:

Is there any solution or walkaround for that?
