Hey everyone i am new to UE5, I am testing out everything and playing with some of the possibilities in UE5.
So, i made a character in Character Creator 4, and imported it to UE5 using these exact steps in this tutorial. Tutorial link : [NEW] Character Creator 4 - ThirdPerson in UnrealEngine 5 - YouTube
Everything was working well, when i retargeted the character using the tutorials, The leg placement/ Leg IK were there while walking on slope etc, all the inbuilt manny animations were running smooth.
But, i needed to add some external animations for the character, so i used Maximo converter software for this purpose. This is the software link : https://terribilisstudio.fr/?section=MC
all the animations converted nicely, but when i changed the default manny animations with new one by using blueprint, and added some idle run animations (did this using blend space), and click played the new animations were working fine but the leg placement / leg ik was not working for any animation that i selected, while walking on slope it looked one leg was floating in air.
Do any of you have any idea on how i fix this and make all Maximo animations i have look good with correct foot placement/ik again ?
