Mixamo to Ue5, root bone drag and drop parenting issue in the engine.

Hey guys, I’ve got a question regarding drag and drop method for reassigning the root bone. I have dragged and dropped my hips bone into the root bone to assign it as a parent, but it instead is forcing it to become a child. The root is the child of the hips. Is this a bug? Is this a issue on my end? And is there a way to go around the drag and drop method that so many YouTube tutorials are using? Any help is appreciated.
