mixamo distorted models

hey guys,
i have exported the main character from the infiltrator demo and imported it in blender .

removed the gun set the orientation to forward : -Y Up : Z and uploaded it to mixamo (just the mesh) .

the character in T-pose in mixamo look fine as u can see in the attached image, but if i try to apply an animation it completely distort .

any idea on what’s going on ?

i know that the proper way to handle this is by using animation retargeting in unreal but after watching some videos i decided to try it as last option :wink:

any idea is welcome .
