Missing UE4PrereqSetup_x64.msi

Hey

I’m trying to install UE5 but before it even starts, I get this message

Try to find it everywhere on the net, but just can’t

Hope some can help ?

The -tronic gang gains a new member.

I think the Prereq installer is ran at the end of the installation, so check yourinstalldrive:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_5.0\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us

Can’t even install the epic game launcher so have no epic games folder

It just says UE4PrereqSetup_x64 missing?

Could need some help have tried all now I can’t even install the launcher it just says its missing the UEPreregSetup and i search all my computer it’s not there
Is there a place to download it?

I’m not finding much info from googling UE4PrereqSetup_x64 error.

I did find a help article that gives some links to C++ Redistributables that you could try installing. (After re-downloading installer and running as admin)

Thanks got it working, i needed to upgrade to windows 11
