I am trying to import a model into unreal but when i do, some of the faces are missing/transparent. I have tried removing double vertices and flipping the normals inside of blender but it doesn’t fix it. any help is appreciated
Well this is a common issue my friend and you need not worry.
first of all have a look at this video .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC1_m0VdKIY
then what you can do
- is select your mesh
- go to edit mode
- press space
- select triangulate faces option.
hope this helps If you issue is still not going away then I’ll try finding any other solution that is leading to this problem …
But, I think it would work.
triangulating the faces didn’t seem to do anything, but after watching the video I realized I forgot to change the scale in blender. After re importing with the fixed scale the model looks normal. Thanks for the response!
hope you get your desired result . Let me give you a suggestion , always be in the search of addon for blender . I assure you they are great.
Good luck my friend with your project .
