Missing shortcuts for some editor panels

I would like to use the viewport at its maximum possible size and use keyboard shortcuts to “pop up” the panels that are already docked on the sides of the editor, the same way it is usual to use the Asset Drawer with CTRL+Space.

Searching through Editor Settings->Keyboard Shortcuts, I could find shortcuts to open the Asset Drawer, Place Actors and World Settings panels, but I couldn’t find shortcuts to open the Outliner, Details and World Partition panels.

Are they possibly named something else internally, or are these keyboard shortcuts missing?

I don’t know the particular answer you’re looking for, but you might appreciate this asset ( I think it should be part of the editor )

It works in all windows, so main viewport and blueprint editor, material etc.

Lovely asset! Thanks for sharing. It does exactly what I’m looking for.

I agree, this should be part of the editor. It already has optional keyboard shortcuts for some panels, so not having optional shortcuts for all panels feels like inconsistent behavior.

Thanks mate!

If you don’t mind, I’ll keep the topic as unresolved for a while so Epic sees it and possibly marks this for a bugfix, and I’ll mark your answer as a solution later.

Good eh?

Something else that should be part of the editor:

Greetings @Sputnicker

I was going to chime in here. But, Clock provided some great assets! Were you able to get the issue resolved? If not, reply back and we can look into other options. Thanks!

Hi @FrostyJas!

The Zen dev plugin that clock mentioned did almost what I wanted. It is good enough that I could use it as is.

I was thinking more like a temporary panel like when you press ctrl+space to open the asset drawer, but it vanishes when you click outside of its boundaries, but Zen dev toggles and untoggles the panel on the sidebar, so you have to manually disable the panel.

I’m currently editing the Zen Dev plugin to make it work how I want, but if there is another solution that already does this it would be preferable.

Indeed, this would be awesome to have in the Editor natively!

I added it to my wishlist, it will be really useful when I start designing the levels.
