If you update materials through the replcacement process (replace texture/material upon delete request), the editor subsequently goes into unresposnive mode, while shaders are compiled, only noticeable through the task manager. There should be a notification upon shader compiling, imho this process should ideally be configurable, at least run in the background and not use up all memory. However, it appears on my system with 32GB Ram it only uses 16GB?

Somehow 4.23.1 only uses up to 16GB of Ram, while there are 32GB available, why?
