Missing section in turntable scan

We are trying to get a 3D scan going as a test from turntable photographs, using a https://orbitvu.com/product/alphashot-xl/ as it can mask photos directly.

Got nice and even 360 shots from 3 angles and masked them out:

But the scans always turn out with a hole in the base

The base is a perfect circle as you can see up top.

I tried setting control points but those don’t seem to help. Am I missing some kind of basic best practice for a scan of this kind?

It seems, that the base is black in your images. Therefore it could be impossible to find features here and your model is created with a hole. To create a model from this part you should have some texture there.
