One of our testers gets this error message when trying to run a packaged game. The game runs fine on all the other testers machines. Haven’t been able to find anything regarding this message or how to fix it. The only thing that we think maybe the issue is this particular tester recently upgraded their gfx card from a ‘2070’ to ‘2080ti RTX’. The game had previously run on their machines before this. The part of the message cut off says make sure the game is cooked, which it is. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.
Ok fixed this. Had to enable ‘Support Compute Skincache’ in project settings for the game to run on his RTX card, even though the project is not raytraced enabled…
Have a similar problem but was able to launch the game via Steam by adding “-sm4” to the Launch Option. Probably you can use this option in your shortcut to Launch a game without Steam.
