This might have already been answered somewhere but i couldn’t find a thread for this specific issue. I made my first island almost entirely from Actors from the FAB marketplace since i wanted it look differently than a normal game of fortnite. It passed all the checks for publishing and worked fine for the first few days. When i signed into the island today i was greeted with nothing but empty ground all FAB actors were gone from the map. When I opened it in UEFN all of them were still there but their static mesh had been unassigned. Before i spend time redoing 90% of my island, i was wondering if this is a known issue with assets from FAB marketplace or if its a bug.
Looks like there was a bug with our latest update. If the situation has not already resolved itself for you, some manual relinking may be necessary.
First restart UEFN, and then look for broken references from Fab and re-import those assets.
I got the same issue.
I tryed to start the game to uefn and it showed me many errors that some fab meshes are missing.
So i went in all my referenced objects from the fab and applyed those to the missing actors in the map. (100+)
I’m glad you were able to reconnect everything. Are you encountering any additional issues with the referenced assets?
So far no, but i can tell you that they got lost at a point where is started a session to test the map.
So before i started there where there and atfer i started everything was wiped.
Maybe that helps a little bit.
Thanks for that additional info - I’ll pass it along to our team.
