Subject: URGENT – UEFN 43.00 Broke My Project (Missing Classes, Assets, Verse Errors & Crashes)
Hello Epic Games Support,
I’m experiencing a critical issue with my UEFN project CLIMBING FOR BRAINROT after updating Fortnite and UEFN to 43.00 (Build 59596594) on November 1, 2026.
The project worked perfectly before the update. On my first launch afterward, a large portion of the project was broken, although I hadn’t modified anything.
Problems encountered:
-
79–82 “Missing Class” errors in Data Recovery.
-
Houses, machines, timers, and event objects replaced by placeholder cubes.
-
Critical EP_Game components showing errors and missing references.
-
Hundreds of Verse errors, including
Unknown identifier UI(3506) andInvalid access of internal module(3593). -
Thousands of
LogVersePathRegistrywarnings about unregistered Scene Graph classes, includingentity,mesh_component, andmaterial. -
UEFN crashes when compiling Verse.
-
Compiler logs report
Rollback unavailable. Continuing to work in editor may result in data loss.
Troubleshooting performed:
-
Restarted the PC and UEFN — no improvement.
-
Opened other UEFN projects — they work normally.
-
Restored several previously working revisions — all show the same problems.
-
Duplicated the project for testing — problems persisted.
-
Disabled and re-enabled Scene Graph in the test copy — no resolution.
-
Verified affected Static Mesh assets still exist and open with their original materials.
-
Examined Verse logs and three crash reports. Two crashes involved a Verse package being included in compilation before loading.
The project contains extensive Verse systems, hundreds of assets, and interconnected Scene Graph components. Rebuilding manually would be extremely difficult.
I suspect a compatibility or Verse asset-loading issue introduced or exposed by UEFN 43.00.
Please investigate and advise how to restore the original classes, components, and asset references without losing project data.
I can provide screenshots, compiler logs, and crash reports.
Thank you.
