Steps to Reproduce

  1. Equip weapons with alternate aim models, or otherwise have unorthodox aim mechanics. The Reaper Sniper Rifle, Cobra DMR, Scoped Revolver, Railgun, Holo Twister Rifle, Precision SMG, and Proximity Grenade Launcher make good examples.
  2. Place down a First Person Mode device and preview the mode.
  3. Start aiming, firing, and reloading. Make sure everything has its proper animations

Expected Result

Everything works, as with Version 31.40.

Observed Result

Weapon optics may appear sized down as they do not follow the FOV when they should. Weapon models may clip through the camera position, or may not be dropped when reloading. Some weapons may have their camera moved backwards upon aiming.

These are 2 photos in which the player is positioned behind a target, yet when they aim, the front is visible.


33.10 fixed the scope issues, but the weapons still all use the SMG recoil animations and now have weird positions. This ruins an old game I was working on that heavily uses the device.

Came to say it doesn’t work with pickaxes.
