I was wondering if there’s an easy way to mirror an animation? Lets say i have an animation of a character moving in one direction and i want to have that same animation just moving the opposite way. How can i do that?
I have searched for possible solutions and tried some stuff in Maya, but had to give up because the guides i found was mostly for Maya only and not intended to bring into ie UE4. So the problem with the approach i tried was that it involved modifying “ScaleX” to -1 which kept introducing a transform node which i never figured out how to get rid of. I also tried look into what Motionbuilder can do, since it seems it has a Mirror character modifier, but with my very limited knowledge of Motionbuilder i was not able to get that to work either. So regarding Motionbuilder: Does anyone here know how to achieve this and has a good description/video showing how to do it and get the mirrored animation back into UE4?
