As I said before, I think on the whole the user interface is very good and easy to understand.
There are just one an a half little things that throw me off a bit.
The first one is really only the fact that the Ribbons are affected by the mouse wheel.
And since I use it a lot while zipping across the screen, I end up cycling through the menu by accident almost constantly.
No idea if that is just me (being clumsy) or if others have similar “problems”.
I could imagine that disabling the mouse wheel cycling though will not be too difficult and isn’t really an important feature for the ribbon anyway - but i might be wrong.
The other thing is that right now the three ribbons appear very similar and i have to squint and read the buttons first to figure out where I am. I would suggest some colour coding like you already did for the scene ribbon - then it is much easier and intuitive to know where one is in the ribbon.
And last but not least:
Even though the software has a flat learning curve and I do think that you managed to achieve a very good balance between an easily approachable program with a lot of potential for customisation in the background, I personally find the redundant buttons in the different ribbons a bit confusing. It took me a while to make sure that they are doing exactly the same. Some more individual icons could easily solve this little catch…
All of this is criticism at a very high level though! :geek:
