I remember seeing somewhere that if you’re attempting to make characters ‘mini/micro’ within a larger world (‘A Bug’s Life’ for example), that the best approach is to make the maps at a larger scale and keep the pawn at relatively the same size as is normal. Just wondering whether this is still the case. Do physics break down at smaller scales?
If this is the case, what about lighting a level at a much larger scale than normal? From personal experience, lighting large (but interior) spaces is difficult. What is the best approach for something like this? (Considering both lighting and physics are still really important to the concept).
