A lightweight Blueprint Actor that adds natural balloon sway using physics and wind-like forces.
Drop it into your level, tweak Wind Strength, and get instant prop motion for cinematic shots or background dressing.

Setup

  1. Drag BP_Balloon into the level

  2. Ensure Simulate Physics is enabled on the mesh component

  3. Press Play (PIE) to start the motion, then adjust Wind Strength in the Details panel
    (Note: In the editor viewport without Play, the balloon remains static.)

Notes

  • Intended as a simple prop-motion solution (not a full balloon simulation)

  • Works best with reasonable damping values

  • Nanite / SM6 Note: This pack is delivered as a Content-only asset pack. If you see a “Missing Project Settings (SM6)” message, enable DirectX 12 + Shader Model 6 (SM6):
    Project Settings → Platforms → Windows → D3D12 Targeted Shader Formats → SM6, then restart the editor.
    (Alternatively, you can disable Nanite on the included meshes if you don’t need it.)
