Hi all,
Wanted to share this latest piece I created with UE. It is a scene from an IP I stared developing some time ago and started with me driving by an underpass in Miami where the concept was born.
As always, I try to push the limits of Realtime filmmaking by jamming as many polygons and high res textures as I possibly can and then pray to the pixel gods that it will work once I am ready to render the final version.
I wanted this to be a continuous shot that shifted focus between different areas and actions of the environment. I used Black Eye Technologies Camera to do this without having to redo the camera work every time I changed the speed or location of things.
Hope that you all like it.

Hey there @playard_studios,
Hope you’re well and having a great week so far
This looks so great. Especially that under the bridge shot. The lighting and structure design seem so high quality and polished. If you don’t mind me asking, how long did you work on this?
Thanks!
The blocking I had done late last year along with the models and textures of the freeway and underpass. Then I had to shelve it until last month when I picket it up again. I would say in total it was around 4-5 weeks including editing and color. The building in the skyline are from Ktbash3d which really sped up the process. I also used a TON of quixel assets

I’d say it turned out great, especially for just 4-5 weeks.
I can’t wait to see more of your art. Do you have anything else in the works or are you taking a break after this project?
