Microsoft: Visual Studio for Mac to be retired August 31, 2024

Months ago I heard bad news from Microsoft regarding Mac.
I’m not a Mac user but Visual Studio for Mac to be retired August 31, 2024 - Microsoft Lifecycle | Microsoft Learn

What will happen to those who cannot afford a Rider license?
They will have to migrate from Mac to Linux (Ubuntu…), Windows or any OS. that can run Visual Studio?

Well that pretty weird they ending support for this, last time i heard a similar issue with steam on mac because google has end support for chrome on macOS.

I think most people will just use windows vm on mac.
