MetaSounds Send <type>/Receive <type>

This is actually two questions that might be related. The Metasounds documentation shows there are various Send and Receive nodes, yet none exist. I was guessing this was a concept that was dropped possibly because the Inputs and Outputs are shared now. Is that correct?

If that is not correct, do the Transmission:Address nodes replace whatever functionality it provided. I don’t find anything that says what they are for and how to use them. I would like to see docs that explain them in any case because I’m not hooking up to what they might provide.

The reason these have my curiosity, is more than academic. The notes on Send/Receive discussed it being a way to create a feedback loop which intrigued me since looping is so intentionally blocked in Metasounds by draconian loop restrictions.

What did/do these nodes actually do.

The (seemingly out of date) docs I refer to on the Send/Receive is:

and there are no docs on Transmission:Address.

Variables replaced send/receive. You can use the delayed variable for feedback.

Thanks on that.

I was wondering what delayed variables do. Do you know the rules associated with them? I’ve just noticed them occasionally pop up as options and didn’t know why, or play with them when they did.
