Metasounds don't seem to take wave file info into account?

After changing


After changing the pitch of my wave file to 2x I went to play it in my metasound source but it still played at 1x pitch. I then tried simply playing it in a blueprint with “Play Sound 2D” and that played at 2x pitch. I also tried just using a sound cue and the wave file and that also played it at 2x pitch.

Is there anyway currently in a metasound to get the wave file information in unreal in order to have it change the pitch of the wave for playback? Or does anyone know if metasounds will be updated in the future to take the wave file settings into account when playing the wave file similar to sound cues, etc…

BTW, i can’t just set it manually in the metasound because I have an array of wave files many of which have different custom settings.
