MetaHumans will NOT appear in Quixel Bridge

I’ve created a variety of different MetaHumans in Epic’s online MetaHuman Creator (using version 5.5) I’ve been trying to import any of these MetaHumans into UE5.5 using Quixel Bridge, but no matter what I do it won’t show any new MetaHumans. My MetaHumans only show two outdated characters.

I’ve tried removing the Quixel plugin and reinstalling it, I’ve logged in and out of my bridge account, I have the official MetaHuman Plugin installed to 5.5 and still nothing. It’s only showing my two old metahumans that I deleted from the MetaHuman Creator weeks ago.

This is actually driving me insane. Moving to Fab has just made this whole process a nightmare. Does anyone have a solution so I can find my MetaHumans and import them?

Hey,

This sounds like the account signed in on UE and MetaHuman Creator are mismatched.

Try using the signout everywhere in your account to ensure both are the same:

Thank you for the response. I’m afraid this hasn’t solved anything. I signed out everywhere and then signed back into Epic and Quixel with the same exact account. The new MetaHuman still refuses to show up and it only shows the old ones. Is there any way for my account to be checked in some way to remedy this? I can provide more details in a direct message if needed.

Thanks again.

I also encountered the same problem. The first issue is that no matter which version of UE (UE5.5 or UE5.7) I use, I cannot display it in the built-in bridge of Epic. The second problem is that if I create a character, it shows that the generation was successful, but it cannot be seen in the UE scene. Another problem is that after installing the “Metahuman for Maya” plugin in Maya, when opening it, the content displayed by this plugin is empty. How can I solve this? Thanks

Same. I built my whole thesis around this project. I tried everything and searched everywhere for a solution.

Welp it’s now been more than 3 weeks and I’ve yet to find a solution for this. I contacted Epic’s official support email and they literally just referred me to the forums and the MetaHuman FAQ again. I responded and said that was useless since I already made a post and have searched endlessly and they replied with:

“I understand how important it is for you to be able to resolve your query. On the other hand, the only avenue for us to assist you with your concern is through the links I’ve sent.

That being said, if you have other issues or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us again; I will be more than happy to assist you.”

I genuinely can’t believe how unhelpful they are. I ended up migrating my project to 5.6 to use the built-in MetaHuman Creator and while that is technically working it’s still got a variety of issues. Really hoping they actually do something about this one day.
