MetaHumans are now available in UEFN!

We’re excited to announce that MetaHuman can now be used with Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) to further empower creators to build islands in varied and distinct visual styles.

You can download digital humans made with MetaHuman Creator and import them into UEFN as a non-playable character (NPC). You can create MetaHuman meshes and animations using Mesh to MetaHuman and MetaHuman Animator, now available in UEFN. Once you’re done, you can attach the MetaHuman to the NPC Spawner device and add it to your island! MetaHuman Animator in UEFN also works with Fortnite characters and the Character Device. We’ve updated the Animation 101 Template with an example.

Are there any plans to bring the “tiny” optimised metahuman back to UE?

@JamesPullan Any Word on the Talisman Demo release will it also be released in normal UE as Assets.

@tomaaron872 Yes we plan to bring these optimisations back to UE, I cant give a firm date yet though.
