i am using a metahuman as a character for my player in UE4.26. To gain performance, i firstly merge the skeletal meshes with this tool:
Unfortunately, there is some issue with the UV mapping after the merge. The material on the hands looks as if it was mapped in a wrong way, the diffuse texture details are gone and there are lots of gray dots all over the visible body parts.
There are some UV mapping parameters in the Merge Mesh Params, but i don’t really know how to use them. Maybe any of you has run into a similar problem?
