Metahuman retarget fingers twisted

I keep running into this issue when retargeting animations from UE5 skeleton to Metahuman characters where the index finger twists onto the middle finger, on both hands. I’ve already tried setting the metacarpal bones to NONE but that only improved it slightly. The fingers don’t look like this on the source UE5 mannequin skeleton so not sure what’s causing this. If I manually move the bone away from the middle finger bone then it improves it slightly but it causes the fingers to look weird in other ways. Anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?
