Hi guys, I’m doing some tests with metahuman in VR on a quest 2, I don’t understand why in viewport everything works perfectly, as soon as I do the export for the quest it becomes bald and beardless. I set the lod to 3, so it’s not groom but cards, I disabled physics, but I don’t understand why the quest doesn’t display hair

Is there a particular reason you’re disabling the physics? I know that a lot of the hair is driven by the physics engine, so maybe enabling physics or a lower LOD?

The same with Hololens. Low LOD (even when hair looks like solid mesh) doesn’t help.
If I remember correctly, groom isn’t supposed to support stereo rendering. But it works in x64 apps (with SteamVR). And doesn’t work on other platforms (ARM).
Instead of using the LOD, select the beard/hair and enable the “Use Cards”.
Tested on the Quest2 and it works perfectly, I can see both beard and hair without issues.
hello guys i am dealing with the same issue , importing a Metahuman into Unreal Engine 5.3.2, in VR. Upon importing, the hair and beard disappear when I get closer to the character. they don t show in VR preview at all.
