Metahuman hair not displaying properly

I’m having a weird issue with my metahuman blueprint. The hair appears to be flickering and not showing properly. Bridge gave me a warning the the hair is only supported in LOD 0 and 1 so In the LOD hierarchy I set it to be forced at LOD 1. I searched the forums and found someone who had this issue and solved it be deleting the meshes beyond LOD 1. I tried this but afterwards my program would crash whenever loading a map that had the blueprint present.
