Hello, this morning I was trying to optimize the lighting in my scene and turned on Ray tracing Support in project setting/ render- after i restarted my engine the hair on my metahuman seemed to disappear- then i saw it was reappearing while moving around the screen but aways ultimately disappearing. I have gone down the rabbit hole of playing around with the LODs/bias’ - the strands/cards/ of grooms- cast shadows-bounds scale- and nothing seems to improve this issue or show any sort of pattern for improvement. I am running 5.2.1 Here are some stills of the issue
I got the same problem when upgraded project from 5.1 to 5.2. Not sure what caused it, but upgrading metahumans in Metahuman Creator to 5.2 version and reimporting them in Bridge helped.
I wasn’t able to fix this specific issue and had to reopen a previous version of my project where instead of messing around with the ray tracing I changed the Antialiasing setting from project settings>rendering>antialiasing - there are a few options and the one the worked best for my project was the TSR
