I’ve been trying a long time now to fix the following problem
I am using the MHC Lighting Preset in UE 5.1.
I asked a couple of questions in this forum and never received an answer so I’m actually hopeless that someone might answer.

I just found out what caused the problem but can’t find a fix.
So: I’ve been working on an animation for a very long time and realized that I need to make new takes for the facial animations because some parts are completely broken.
The problem is: I can’t use the take recorder to record the face inside my master sequence, because it doesn’t recognize the actors as sources (they are not in the list). So I just dragged in additional actors and hid them in the level just to record the scene. The recordings work perfectly fine on the faces of my original actors, but it messes up their grooms completely.
Is anybody here who can give me any tips?
I tested one more thing:
I though maybe I should just rebuild all of my characters by pulling in completely new characters into the level in takerecorder mode and then just copy in all the positions and animations from the original ones. But it’s the same issue. When I try to record new facial animations in my level, it completely messes up my grooms and shapes of my character, but only for the section where I use the new animations. The characters look fine when I delete the new facial animation.
Please guys. I am also willing to pay someone for tutorship for a couple of hours just so I get help with this. I’ve put in really much work into the project and was about to finish and render.
