This is such a weird issue that I’ve seen no one else bring up anywhere. I’m using UE 5.8, and I have this groom asset that I added from Fab, and I want to generate some hair cards for it. I enabled the “Hair Card Generator” plugin, restarted, and the next step is to go into the Cards tab and hit the handy dandy “Create” button!
But guess what? No Cards tab for me!
I’ve reopened and rebuilt the groom, I’ve changed LOD settings, I even got the hair groom exporter plugin so that I could reimport the .abc file, and no luck. It never pops up. And all the UE documentation says is that if there’s no generated cards, then the tab will be empty. Well, Epic, what if the tab is erased from existence?
I’m losing my mind. Any advice? And also what were they thinking only putting the create button in that tab?!
