Metahuman Failing to Connect To server

Hey everyone, I’ve been using the UE 5.6 release, and after creating one metahuman character with the new metahuman character feature, When I try to create new ones and it’s time to download the textures, rig the character and assemble it, it gives me an error of “Server Error”

Try to change your default web browser to chrome if it wasn’t. Mine was Arc and didnt opened the MH Consent form that we have to accept for MH Creator to proceed

Don’t know if it helps. I was getting the same error constantly.
The Browser code flow was working but I wasn’t aware it had opened up a tab in firefox, waiting for input from me.

Can maybe try closing any browsers, opening up the engine without the browser open then trying again.

So once I logged in after the browser code flow occurred it was ok.
Or you can try enabling the Epic Online Services Plugin and following a similar process it should open up browser auth (from what happened to me anyway).

I was able to download joints only and 4k textures. After many tries I did autorig the character but still very very unreliable.

today was a hell with this server error and found the solution at least for me… everybody say turn off vpn for me is the opposite , using astrill vpn , go to dns options and choose google dns … stealth mode…this error seems ur network have port 443 blocked and tricky things… chatgpt didnt give the solution but said something about need reach google or cloudflare dns… i found that in my vpn and suddenly works all fast and smooth… :slight_smile:
