I am trying to move the face of my metahuman around. Instead of the controls guiding smoothly to make nuanced faces, I can only seem to have the extremes. It is either one side of the bar or the other. I cannot seem to slide them halfway. Fairly new to this and cannot seem to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ditto for me. Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
I’m using the latest version of UE (5.2.1) on MacOS (arm64). I’m wondering if this is just another one of those “not supported on MacOS” issues. Anyone experiencing this on Windows?
For anyone else who comes across this thread with the same problem, what I found is that it’s not a bug. Snap to Grid
is turned on, which is why the gizmos “snap” to the extremes of the Facial Rig sliders. Disable it, and the controls should work smoothly.
You can read more about this in the official MetaHuman documentation under Animating MetaHumans/Using MetaHumans in Sequencer/Animating MetaHumans with Control Rig in Sequencer. There you can find screenshots of the Snap to Grid
button icon, which is helpful if you’re unfamiliar with it.
