Hi all, hope all is well
I have linked my iphone with Live Link to Unreal Engine and when I press “simulate” it is running just fine (head and face movements are replicated by the metahuman). However, once I record the animation and play it it in the sequencer it seems that the animated Metahuman BP changes scale? (metahuman becomes slightly bigger or elongated). Below you can see that the animated metahuman is slightly bigger than the original one.
Also at this point, face movement works but head movement is still not working and after watching some tutorials I tried changing the Animation mode under Face settings to “Custom” as seen below
This allowed for head and face movement to work an it seems that both are also correctly positioned, however the body is still elongated as seen below
I am not sure what the problem is with the body. I dont intend to animate it, I would just like for it to be positioned correctly or in the same scale as the original so that I can only record face and head animation.
Have been using Unreal for only 2 months and still super new to all this so pardon my ignorance if I got some of the technical nomenclature wrong.
