Metahuman clothing assets clipping each other

Hi,

I’m trying to dress my metahuman in MH Creator and the shirt, pants and boots are clipping into each other. What is be most efficient method to fix this problem?

I’ve tried making a static mesh and altering the geometry but I’m just deforming the model beyond recognition. (I succeeded in removing the underlying body with a mask in the wardrobe item.)

I’ve also tried removing part of the material with a mask in mesh paint mode but I might be doing it wrong.

I’m trying to avoid going into another program like blender if possible.
