If you haven’t seen it be sure to check out the first episode of my youtube series using metahumans. It has received 3 official selections in film festivals and more pending! Budget was $400 with help of two individuals for rigging cloth and facegood animation for the face. Working on second episode now but can only work on it during the weekends so its been slow. Enjoy and thank you for watching!
UPDATE: This just won Best Animation and Best Super Short Film!!
Love the end of the video with a segment showing a behind-the-scenes look into the development of your project. Really well done and totally stoked to have it on the UE forums to geek out about as a community.
Thanks so much for sharing your work and hope to see more from your team soon.
Hey @jsfilmz, I just wanted to say congrats on the much-deserved recognition from film festival selections! Hopefully, many awards to come with the fantastic work you do with metahumans and filmmaking shorts.
Man. I saw The Lawnmower Man in 1992 and it was mind-blowing. With a budget of 10 million USD. What you have achieved with 400 dollars speaks volumes about how far we have come with tech, your perseverance, determination and passion, plus the team you have.
It was very interesting to see the actresses doing their thing afterwards. I wish you all great success and victories in the future. Kudos on the film festivals recognition. One day I will see your name on a poster in our local cinema and say “Wait a minute, that’s the Unreal Engine guy.”
