Metahuman animator on custom bodies

How are you guys using the MH animator with custom bodies?

As soon as I attach the head to the body via the leader pose component inside the construction script, I can’t play any face animations. Then again, if I unplug the head from the leader pose node, the animation plays but the head movement is completely off. Attaching it to body sockets doesn’t work. See videos:

Watched every tutorial on YT, googled like crazy. No results so far. I think it has something to do with the Face Anim BP, but I’m not sure.

you gotta open up the actual face animation and in the asset details under additive settings, put mesh space for add anim type and Frame from this animation on the base pose type. I’m 90% sure that’s it, had a similar problem awhile ago and this is what I remember.
