Metahuman Animation Retargeting Issue

I’ve gone through the basic process of creating a meta human. After that I’ve imported it to the Engine.

The next thing I do is retarget animations, following the unreal engine articles. After the retarget however, I’ve found that the shirt, is not affected. All other parts of the body work fine.

I’m using animation blueprints. Also, I’ve found that for some reason, the shirt uses a different skeleton from the rest of the body parts, which is why the animations and retargeting are not working.

Is there a way to make the shirt use the same skeleton as the other parts? Otherwise I will need to work on two different skeletons, which will double the work.

I’ve tried exporting another Metahuman and faced the same issue.

I’m doing this on UE5 btw, but it’s not letting me use that Tag…
