Metahuman animation groom assets issue

Hi all,

When applying animation presets to metahuman, I noticed that the groom assets don’t keep up when a character leaves the frame. I can recreate this behavior with a simple offset keyframe in the control rig, so the issue is not with the animation itself.

I tried turning physics on and off and reapplying groom bindings, but that didn’t help. The issue is shown in the screenshot. I’m not sure what else to try.
